As Jordan’s National Research and Education Network (NREN), the Jordanian Universities Network (JUNet) is launching its Annual Technology Summit to highlight emerging technologies and showcase advanced research and education-based services that strengthen and empower academic and scientific communities in the country. The Summit is designed for researchers, faculty members, technical experts, and administrative staff from universities and research institutions across Jordan.
Through this event, JUNet aims to deepen engagement with the wider ecosystem of research and education infrastructure providers, including Regional Research and Education Networks such as the Arab States Research and Education Network (ASREN), the European Research and Education Network (GEANT), as well as National Research and Education Networks (NRENs) from the Arab region and beyond.
Another key objective of the Summit is to foster dialogue with leading technology providers, offering participants the opportunity to explore the latest developments in networking, educational technologies, eLearning, and tools that support scientific research. In addition, the Summit will address new trends that are shaping the future of research and education, including cloud services, High Performance Computing (HPC), and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
JUNet is committed to enhancing its engagement with the research and education community and working collaboratively to supporting them through advanced services. This can be achieved through strengthening collaboration with key stakeholders, including policy and decision-makers, to jointly advance national research and education priorities.
JUNet is honored to host the first edition of the JUNet Technology Summit, sponsored by Huawei and supported by ASREN.
The 2025 Summit will be held on 30 November 2025 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, Amman, and will feature discussions and presentations on the following themes:
