Young researchers, early-career professionals, or graduate students, not older than 30 years

Applicants from and residing in the Arab region.

Teams of 3 members (mixed disciplines encouraged)

Participants from previous e-AGE editions, including former finalists and winners, are eligible to apply.
Application Requirements
Teams should submit:

A concept proposal, approximately 1,200–1,500 words, or 3–5 pages including diagrams, including the following:
1. Introduction and background/relevance of the idea
2. Objectives aligned with the theme and subthemes
3. Methodology and technologies to be used
4. Team skills, experience, and previous work (links if applicable)
5. A cover page with team member details (names, emails, phone numbers, affiliation)
6. The concept should be submitted in English.

A short video (2–3 minutes) presenting the team, the pilot idea, and the initial prototype, either in English or Arabic.
Selection Criteria

Relevance and impact: Does the proposed solution address societal challenges or contribute to SDGs?

Technical rigor and AI alignment: Is AI actually required to implement the solution? Is the choice of the AI model appropriate for the problem?

Innovation and creativity: Is the idea novel or original?

Feasibility: Can the solution be implemented realistically within the hackathon timeframe?

Team capability: Does the team have the necessary skills and expertise to complete the project?
